Arts For All Festival, Inc.

presents a

MIME AND SILENT THEATRE WORKSHOP

for young people grades 2 through 12

at the
Arts for All Festival, Friday, May 9, 1 PM – 6:45 PM.
(No school that day!)

The Festival provides a perfect opportunity to bring new or unusual art forms to the community.  So it is with the art of Mime.
Many have heard of the form but few have had direct contact with it.

As part of the adventurous arts experience of the festival,
AFA offers the ancient and honorable tradition of silent theatre to its patrons.

The WORKSHOP will be offered without charge to 20 students in 2nd through 12th grades .  It will be held on the 5th Street Stage at the festival site on Gore Boulevard. on Friday, May 9, 2008, starting at 1 PM.

The program will end with a 6 PM performance for the public.

Workshop instructors will be Mime artists, Doobie Potter and Joe Long, members of the
Zany Arts Players (ZAP).

Space is limited to 20 students.

Parents may pick up an Application Form at the Lawton Community Theatre, 1316 NW Bell Avenue.
