The LFSAC Activities

Art Show at Pride Gallery July 24 to first week of October 2008. 24 artists from the Lawton-Fort Sill Art Council will show one painting each. Grand Opening will be July 24, 2008, at 5:00 pm. The Pride Gallery is located at Southwestern Hospital.

Monthly Demonstrations

1st Thursday of each month, Basic Drawing Class-at 7:00 PM with Sandra Dunn. The demonstrations are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Program Chairs, Sharon Cheatwood, 580-355-7180 or Jean Roberts, 580-357-6984.

2nd Thursday of each month, at 7:00 PM. Business meeting and Art Demonstration. Admission is free and open to the public.

Art Center

Every Wednesday & Saturday members of the Lawton-Fort Sill Art Council and anyone who enjoys Art, drawing, painting, colored pencil etc. meet at the Art Council, 1701 Ferris Avenue, bring their supplies and enjoy working on their projects.

Gallery

Our Gallery is open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Works from local artists are available for purchase.

Pastel or Oil Workshop
October 20 through 24, 2008,
The Lawton-Fort Sill Art Council with the assistance of Leslie Powell Foundation, and a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council, will sponsor a Plein Air Workshop in pastel and Oil, with renown artist
Richard McDaniel.
